If you are looking for Questions Papers of Gunotsav Assam for Upper Primary classes, then you are in the right place. We have collected the question papers of Gunotsav Assam 1st phase held in October 2018. There are two types of evaluation will be held in Upper Primary classes.

1) Skill Test : This Test is mainly for testing the elementary level READING, WRITING & NUMERACY skills. Every student have to apper a test of 50 marks. See Question paper here

2) MCQ Test : This test is for testing/Evaluating  a student's knowledge on Text Books. Each student have to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions on OMR sheet. This is very important thing for students of Upper Primary level. In 2018 , class ix is also included in Gunotsav. FRAME–1
               "Do you see that creeper?" he said to them. "Let's destroy it." "Why must we destroy it?" asked the geese in surprise. "It is so small. What harm can it do?" “My friends", replied the wise old bird, "that little creeper will soon grow."

FRAME–2
               On his way home, an ant saw a sparkling fountain. He crawled on to its wall to take a closer look. Suddenly he slipped and fell into the water. He gurgled and panicked and waved his legs in the air. "Help! I can't swim", he cried.

FRAME–3
              One day, I was fishing in a river. I fished for a long time but could not catch any fish. Then I decided to see if there was something wrong at the bottom of the river. I jumped into the water and went down to the bottom of the river. There I found a fish that was as big as a mountain.

FRAME–4
             "I wish I had glass leaves instead. Men do not steal glass leaves." The next day its glass leaves shone in the bright sun. "How happy I am! instead." At night the wind blew and all the glass leaves broke.

FRAME–5
            King Dasaratha was a king of Ayodhya. He was very good at shooting with his arrow. He had the special power of shooting. He could shoot at a mark without seeing it. King Dasaratha also liked hunting and enjoyed chasing animals.

FRAME-1
              The earliest books were written by hand. Two thousand years ago in India, birch (bark means bhojapatra) and palm leaves (talapatra) were used for pages. A pen and black ink were used to write on birch bark. A sharp- iron spike was used for writing on palm leaves. Holes were drilled through the leaves and the book was held together by a string.

FRAME–2
               Oh! My clock has fallen. How happy I am/ Tomorrow I can get up late. Next morning there is no alarm. So, Neha sleeps and sleeps.

FRAME–3
              "Help! Help!" cried the geese. "We are caught in the hunter's net. Oh !What shall we do?" "Don't make a fuss now", said the wise old bird. "Long ago I told you to destroy the creeper, but you did not."

FRAME–4
                Once there was a war between the birds and the beasts. Both sides have to win the war. The birds fought very bravely. Even the small birds fought as bravely as the big birds. They flew very fast.

FRAME–5
                 It was 31st of May. Ajoy was very happy that day because it was the eve of the summer vacation. There would be morning school that day for about an hour, from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.. After that the school would be closed for the summer vacation. Usually, the vacation was for one month, from the 1st June to 30th June.

        Sonu saw a butterfly in his garden. He ran to catch it. The
butterfly flew to the rose bed. It sat on a pink rose. Sonu walked
slowly to catch the butterfly.

FRAME–2

       There was great joy in Nina's house. Nina's aunt was getting
married. Nina, mother and her little brother were all going to
Delhi for the wedding. Everyone was happy. But Nina was
unhappy.

FRAME–3

       Shetty was a magician. He was returning home. Suddenly,
it began to rain. Shetty looked around for shelter. He saw a pretty
little fir tree.

FRAME–4

        Suddenly, she saw a white rabbit. He had pink eyes. He was
wearing a blue coat. He took out a big watch from his waistcoat
pocket. The rabbit wore a red waistcoat.

FRAME–5

        It was the summer of 1880. A healthy baby girl was born in
a small town. The name of the town was Alabama. Her parents
loved her dearly. Her name was Helen Keller.

Frame-1
The magic garden was in a school playground. It was very
pretty. Sunflowers and roses stood high against the wall. There
were also marigolds, poppies and pansies. The flowers danced
and sang happily.

FRAME–2
There was a mother tiger and her small tiger cub. They lived
near a river in a shady jungle. When the sky was dark, the mother
tiger hunted for animals. She hunted for deer and pig. The tiger
cub stayed close by his mother's side.

FRAME–3
Neha gets up and gets ready. Can you imagine what happens
the next day? Neha wakes up with a start. Her watch says it is
six o' clock. She calls out to her mother.

FRAME–4
Ram was a farmer. He wanted to sell his goats and sheep.
So he went to the market. There he sold all his animals to a rich
man. He got a lot of money.

FRAME–5
A crow was enjoying a piece of bread sitting on a tree. A
hungry fox wanted to have that bread. He said very sweetly,
"I've heard that your voice is very sweet. Please sing a song for
me." The foolish crow opened her beak and the piece of bread
fell down.
